Benjamin Burch

Benjamin Burch - Born in Augsburg Germany to American parents, Benjamin spent his early life moving around the world and having rich experiences in many different countries. Through his art, he finds great meaning, truth, and fulfillment in creating, representing and sharing the diverse cultures and environments of the world. He has worked as an artist in the animation industry for over 20 years, working as a visual development artist for Laika Feature Films and Dreamworks T.V in New York City, Portland, OR, and Los Angeles. His love for animation has influenced his style and he draws inspiration from the Mid Century Modern era design found in UPA studio productions, Disney’s “Toot, Plunk, Whistle, and Boom”, as well as artists like M. Sasek, Mary Blair, and Charlie Harper.
